What to do after your plane arrives at Tortola;
If you are coming from St. Thomas and want to know which ferry to take;
If your flight will arrive after the last ferry departure and you want information about the private shuttles; or
If you are coming by private boat and want to know where are places to dock your boat.
The Property Concierge knows taxi drivers on the island, which ones will make the climb up the hills, and she can arrange for pickups in advance.
Although you don’t have to rent a car to stay at Tingalayo, it does come in handy. And, although many of the roads you will be using are paved, having a four wheel drive on the island is a must. You will need the torque they offer to get up the steep hills. The Property Concierge can arrange to have your rental car waiting for you at your port of entry.
We will arrange to meet you on arrival and guide you to Tingalayo.
If you are arriving on the island prior to your four o’clock check-in time, our Property Concierge can also recommend some places where you might want to relax and have a meal or a drink until then.
If you want to arrange advance provisioning so your food/beverages will be stocked at the villa prior to your arrival, please let our Property Concierge know. She can guide you through the process and follow-up with the vendors so that your order doesn’t fall through the cracks.
Would you like to have someone prepare your breakfast? Lunch? Or special dinner? Our Property Concierge can make arrangements or put you in touch with a private chef.
Have a special celebration and want a cake to mark the event? She can arrange to have a cake made on your behalf.
If you are interested in chartering a power boat, sail boat or catamaran, she can give you recommendations based on your wishes and guide you in the right direction.
She can also recommend outfitters for snorkel trips, surf lessons, dive trips and Caribbean fly fishing.
If you wish to snorkel gear for the week, she can guide you as to where that can be rented.
She can also guide you as to where you can rent stand up paddle boards, surf boards, etc.
Our Property Concierge can arrange for private yoga lessons at the villa.
Although there are a couple of yoga mats at Tingalayo for your use, you can also rent some for the full week if you choose.
Would you like to have a relaxing massage overlooking the most beautiful view in the BVI? Our Property Concierge can arrange to have a private masseuse come to the villa.
And if a full day at the spa is your wish, she can guide you to either the spa at Peter Island or the local ones on the island.
Want to know which beach is best for snorkeling? Swimming? Surfing? Sun bathing? Picnics?
